Excellent resort-like style hotel within 5min walking distance from Beppu Station. Super convenient if you’ll be using lots of public transportation to & from local areas. Not as many restaurant options nearby but the hotel itself was clean & new - service was great. Our twin room was very spacious with a separate bath & shower room. Modern tech integration with iPad software control for lights & aircon but con is that the digital lights at the control panels at night were too bright in the rooms (we had to put paper & tape over some to make the room dark for sleeping). They offer complimentary drinks in the lobby area, you pick up your own Yukata & belt from the lobby for the onsen upstairs. You request for bottles of water from the lobby daily but they should just provide a refillable water station where guests can refill themselves instead for a more eco efficient solution. The roof infinity pool was lovely both in daytime & night though night time tends to be more crowded. The onsen was lovely & clean. Overall decent hotel & we enjoyed ourselves.

Was a nice place for an overnight relaxing spa hotel. The onsen were great, had the warmer one and cooler one. Just remember to bring the towels from your room. Sauna in the onsen was much better than the rooftop one but that is to be expected (More insulated). Rooftop pool was warm and provided a great view. We happened to be in beppu when the fire festival was on, so at first we thought the hill was burning uncontrollably but later realised it is just part of their celebrations. Just lacked some softdrinks in the bar downstairs which would be our only suggestion to add. Breakfast was a huge choice of Japanese and western cuisine in a buffet. Room had two futon beds and two Tatami mat/thinner fold away beds which our kids slept on. Very relaxing.

We were upgraded to the deluxe double Japanese Style room on the 9th floor and the view was incredible. Also one of the largest rooms and bathrooms we stayed in, in Japan. Hot tip: if you want more space, go for a Japanese style tatami room. These tatami rooms are generally double the size of standard hotel rooms all around Japan. The expansive view of Beppu from the almost floor to ceiling windows was spectacular. Their indoor and outdoor onsens were also beautiful and they of course supplied a yukata, towels, shampoo, body wash, conditioner etc. They also had a beautiful swimming pool on the roof which we didn't use as the weather wasn't great, although a few guests did regardless.

Close to the train station (5 min. Walking) and comfortable. Rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The yukata you can use during your stay is a nice touch, also the nice plastic woven bag and the good quality pajamas. The hotel has a more modern look than the others in the same area, didn't use the onsen because we visited others in the area. Good variety of breakfast options. The non-alcoholic free drinks are water, juice, tra coffee and probably a couple of soft drinks, nothing extraordinary but good to have

Very friendly and professional staff. Great value for a spa hotel, but definitely more expensive than a typical hotel. We have tattoos, and there was absolutely no problem using the spa area. The hot baths and sauna in the men's section were great. There's an all-you-can-drink self-serve 1000 yen bar area - yes, it really is 1000 yen and yes, you really can have anything you want from a selection of excellent shochus, sakes, but also wines beers and whiskey/gin/vodka.
